At Westcliff School of Skills, we follow the CAPS: Technical Occupational curriculum.
The South African Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement (CAPS) for Technical Occupational is designed to provide a structured and comprehensive framework for learners in the Technical Occupational stream, focusing on vocational and practical skills. This stream caters to learners who may not thrive in a traditional academic setting and are better suited to hands-on learning experiences that prepare them for specific trades and occupations. The current curriculum is still in draft format.
Founded in 1953, Westcliff School of Skills is a special school for education in pre-vocational technical subjects, situated in Bellville, Western Cape, South Africa.
